February 17th 2017 London, UK – After taking part in the 10 week program EDF Energy Blue Lab Innovation accelerator program EDF Energy and Ipsum Energy will be continuing their collaboration

Ipsum is one of five EDF Pulse Awards finalists that have taken part in a 10-week programme within EDF Energy’s Blue Lab innovation accelerator, which was created to play an instrumental role to improve the lives of consumers by harnessing the latest technologies, developing energy services and testing the new business models of tomorrow.

The EDF Blue Lab accelerator program resulted in Ipsum fast-tracking development of her Algorithm 2.0 and provided a dynamic opportunity to work in close collaboration with senior EDF Energy experts. It further more brought valuable know-how on UK smart meter, market data and suitable market approaches.

The results of the collaboration proved to be very successful with EDF Energy and Ipsum now set to continue their partnership towards product development.

Ipsum’s mission is to eliminate the blindness in energy consumption. Ipsum separates smart meter energy consumption data down to an appliance level through its proprietary algorithms. Ipsum will launch its Smart Insight in the Netherlands in the coming months. The UK is the second market where Ipsum is present and planning its introduction in 2017.
